Preparing For Your Local Move

Follow these tips for a successful move.   Mark your boxes according to move they need to be moved to.  Clear driveway and paths of snow, ice and personal belongings.  Disconnect all appliances, computers, stereo and other electronics before moving.   Have all packing completed before moving day with all boxes taped and sealed.  All pictures, mirrors and lamps need to be packed.  Plan ahead for children and pets and have someone present on moving day.  On delivery day, have someone present to show movers where to place boxes and furniture.
